OMG! IE6 on Windows XP Service Pack 3

During my free time and have nothing to do, I setup Windows XP Service Pack 3 (found somewhere) on Virtual PC. It took about half an hour. Here is what I've surprisingly found.

  • A preinstalled version of Internet Explorer is 6. (See Internet Explorer icon.)
  • A preinstalled version of Remote Desktop Connection is compatible with Vista.
  • Silverlight isn't preinstalled.
  • Windows Media Player version number is 9.
  • No .NET Framework are preinstalled.
